1. Slice onions crosswise and seperate into rings. Soak rings in mixture of milk, eggs and salt for 30 minutes. 2. Dip each onion ring into the pancake mix and fry until golden brown in the oil heated at 375. 3. Press down the fried onions solidly without pressing into a loaf pan. Bake at 400 for 10-15 minutes. Turn onto a serving plate.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly oil a baking sheet or coat with nonstick spray. In a large bowl, combine flour and Emeril’s Essence; set aside. In a large bowl, combine Panko and Parmesan; set aside. Working in batches, dredge onion rings in flour mixture, dip into eggs, then dredge in Panko mixture, pressing to coat.
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Grease a large baking sheet with cooking spray. Slice the onions into 1/2-inch wide rings then place the rings in a bowl of water. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, 1 teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper. In a second medium bowl, whisk together the egg whites and the mayonnaise.
ONION RING BATTER. Mix dry ingredients; add water and egg. Batter will be thin. Dip onion rings in the batter and deep fry. Ingredients: 7 (cornstarch .. flour .. salt ) 4. BATTER FRIED VEGETABLES. In medium bowl stir together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, salt and Dip veggies into batter.
